Sinossi

È ricercatrice dell’Institute for Public Art, Shanghai Academy of Fine Arts - Università di Shanghai.

Padiglioni Invisibili arises from the project of the same name focused on the regeneration of the excavated and hypogean architecture of Matera. The activities for the recovery and public restitution of the underground spaces of Palazzo Viceconte and the ancient cisterns for the collection of water, dating back to the fifteenth century, highlighted the innovative and systemic, archetypal and futuristic character of the “world below”. How the identity values of place influence the construction of the social imaginary? How to rethink the inherited heritage to experiment and create contents, and collective linguistic and cognitive tools?
